The Kendrick

The artwork selected for this multi-family residence strives to reinvent the classic iconography and design associated with New England. The Kendrick combines the classic charm of Needham, Massachusetts, with playful and whimsical twists, incorporating bold colors, unconventional artwork, and unique decorative pieces. The centerpiece, an oversized vibrant painting of a cottontail rabbit, deviates significantly from a standard depiction of the indigenous creature. Painted by a local Massachusetts artist, it features thick, bold strokes of color and a larger-than-life perspective. From hand-carved antiques and historical artifacts to contemporary sculptures, preserved moss, and imaginative prints, Meridian curated a diverse collection that ensures a surprise at every turn.
